Arrullo a las últimas Gotas
Flute and water drops.
Part of my research on this piece is related to the use of “tinny sounds”. In this piece I incorporate water drops to an acoustic instrument. The idea is to use some of the qualities of water drops and blur them with the sound of the flute. The flute separates the motion of the hands over the keys of the instrument and the inflection of air into the tube. The sonority fluctuates between percussive sounds (almost like water drops) and “airish” sound. Lullaby for the Final Drops from Valeria Jonard on Vimeo.
